Courtney is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO, a Master of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology at the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in sociology and criminal justice from Florida A&M University.
As a professional counselor, Courtney is dedicated to providing compassionate support through a therapeutic relationship built on active listening, encouragement, and a safe, judgment-free environment. She primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while integrating a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual's needs.
Courtney develops personalized treatment plans that incorporate solution-focused strategies and evidence-based therapeutic principles to help clients navigate life's challenges. With extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families, she addresses a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, parenting and family dynamics, communication difficulties, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and trauma.
Courtney has been married for 22 years to her wonderful, loving, and supportive husband. They have two adult children and one grandson and enjoy good food, movies, and spending time with family and friends.
