Our dietitians will create a personalized and sustainable healthy eating plan for you with foods you like. We don’t believe in fad diets. We create positive lifestyle changes based on good nutrition and evidence based science.

Leave your visit with:

  1. A personalized nutrition treatment plan to improve energy, mental wellbeing, and healthy weight goals.

  2. Education regarding macronutrients, micronutrients, gut health, and good food choices.

  3. Review of current eating habits and lifestyle.

ANYONE CAN CALL THEMSELVES A NUTRITIONIST.

Only registered dietitians have multiple years of training and education. Registered dietitians must complete a challenging curriculum established by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.

All RDs must:

  • Get a four-year degree which includes a specially designed, accredited nutrition curriculum.

  • Complete an extensive supervised program of practice at a health care facility, foodservice organization or community agency.

  • Pass a rigorous registration exam


Meet Our Registered Dietitians

KATIE HEANEY, RD

Katie Heaney is a registered dietitian who specializes in weight loss. She is a graduate of Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She also completed her dietetic internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Katie has a Certificate of Training in Obesity Interventions for Adults and Adolescents. She also holds a certificate in Nutrition Informatics. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as Member of the national and local chapter of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic

Katie believes in mindful eating. She will design a practical, healthy plan that meets your needs. The best plan is the plan that is personalized for you. Katie's goal is to help people create a healthy relationship with food and learn to take care of their mind and body through food and physical activity.  She sees food and mindful eating as a way to fuel a joyful, quality life.  Eating, though a source of anxiety for many, can be a pleasurable activity that brings people closer to people and activities that they love.  

Katie enjoys traveling, running, training at Orange Theory, spending time in Forest Park in St. Louis, and spending time with her two kids, age 9 and 7, and her husband.  She is an avid reader of books and loves to learn.  

Audrey Dombrowski, RD

Audrey is a St. Louis area dietitian where she serves most of her time in a hospital setting though, has great passion for individualized care in a private setting.

Audrey graduated from Spring Hill College with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She continued her education at Saint Louis University earning a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, a Master’s degree in Nutrition, and completing a competitive Dietetic Internship at SLU. 

Audrey works with a model that all foods fit and is focused on you feeling like your best, confident, self.  She uses an evidence-based medical approach for treating nutrition needs with an individualized plan. Through education, support and practice, she’s excited to offer services at Evora. 

Outside of her work, she is a long-time instructor at Pure Barre St. Louis, loves to try new local restaurants and spend time with her mini bernedoodle, Felix. Excitingly, she is soon to be Mrs. Miller this year.
